The organization currently seeks to hire an education specialist.
The STEM Education Specialist position is a crucial role at STEM NOLA which encompasses STEM curriculum, professional development, and program delivery. The STEM Education Specialist shall be a willing partner to the director of education, and is responsible for developing and delivering STEM curriculum, a role which requires organizing STEM concepts into learning lessons for ages PreK-12 and delivering those lessons virtually and/or in person. In tandem with the director of education, this role also includes the development and delivery of professional development to teaching professionals in small or large group formats. In concert with the STEM education coordinator, the STEM education specialist will develop and deliver training for STEM NOLA interns and staff.
